This prestigious recognition was presented to Dr. Dhawan on World Menstrual Hygiene Day. The award celebrates her tireless efforts and innovative approaches to promoting menstrual health and hygiene, particularly through her work with MildCares and their groundbreaking product, the GynoCup Menstrual Cup.
In collaboration with local communities, MildCares distributed GynoCup Menstrual Cups, transitioning the village's women to a more sustainable menstrual hygiene solution. This initiative led to the village being officially declared as Uttar Pradesh's first ‘sanitary pad-free village.’
